Well done, Team SA

IFBB athletes from South Africa shared the stage again to battle it out with the best of the best in the world during the IFBB Men’s World Championships hosted in Spain.

Reigning IFBB SA Bodybuilding champion Mveliso Tapi achieved 3rd place in the Senior Men up to/including 70kg category. Ziyaad Martin achieved 6th in the Men’s Classic Bodybuilding over 1.75m. Both Gerhard Nel and Vuyo Vanda achieved 6th place in the Senior Men up to/including 100kg and Senior Men up to/including 65kg sections, respectively.

Glenn Molobela achieved 7th position in the Bodybuilding up to/including 85kg category while Tristan van Aarde came 13th in the Bodybuilding up to/including 90kg division.

The IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships took place at the marvelous Benidorm Palace in Spain from 2 to 6 November. It comprised of the 71st Men’s World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships and the 12th World Amateur Classic Bodybuilding Championships.

The focus of bodybuilding fans will now be shifting to the IFBB World Junior and Master Championships to be hosted in Bistrita in Romania from 10 to 13 November and the World Fitness Championships in Biarritz, France scheduled to run from 1 to 4 December.
