Gareth crowned IFBB World Junior Champ

A superbly conditioned Gareth Scheepers has reaped the reward of all his hard work and commitment by winning the Overall title in the Junior Men’s Bodybuilding 16 to 23 years class at the IFBB World Juniors and Masters Championships hosted in Bistrita in Romania at the weekend.

Gareth’s Overall victory followed his dominance of the Junior Men’s Bodybuilding Over 75kg division at the show. The talented youngster from Port Elizabeth dedicated his victory to the late Sifiso Thabete, the IFBB’s Junior World Champion in the up to 75kg category of 2016. Thabete broke his neck in a freak accident while executing a back flip during an exhibition earlier this year.
