A sell-out crowd expected at Battle of the Titans VI

The Physical Culture Association (PCA) is well-known for providing athletes with an exceptional competitive experience and this weekend will be no different when the sixth edition of Battle of the Titans is held in Durbanville in the Western Cape.

Athlete-centric

As an athlete-centric organisation the PCA is quickly setting a new standard for bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. Competitors have an assortment of divisions to choose from and once they walk onto the stage they are properly assessed, using clearly defined criteria by a trained and fair judging panel.

First formed in the United Kingdom in 2015 with the objective of offering athletes an improved competitor experience, the organisation also announced their expansion locally with PCA South Africa President Kevin Schwartz providing the perfect platform for athletes to show off their physiques.

PCA Pro-Am event

A sell-out crowd is expected when the Battle of the Titans is hosted at the Durbanville High School in Langenhoven Street on 22 and 23 June. The show will also for the first time include two PCA Pro divisions, Bikini and Bodybuilding along with the standard Amateur divisions. Local Professionals Wiehann Mentz, Cobus van der Merwe, Roxanne McLachlan and the UK-based Kerry Sexton are bound to draw the crowds to Durbanville. On Friday, 22 June competitors in the Novice Men, Juniors, Ladies and Athletic Figure, Men`s Beach Model and Physique will battle it out for top honours. The show will start at 17:00. On Saturday, 23 June, athletes will clash in the Ladies Trained Bikini, Men`s Muscle Model, Classic Bodybuilding, Ladies Toned Figure, Masters, all the various Senior Men`s divisions and the Pro Women’s Bikini and Pro Men`s Bodybuilding divisions.

The live judging starts at 16:00.
