Michael unstoppable at Boksburg Classic

Michael Appelcryn was simply unstoppable at the IFBB’s Boksburg Classic held in Kempton Park at the weekend, taking the Senior Men up to and including 90kg category and then the Overall title.

Michael was the most shredded and freaky-looking athlete on stage in what was described by bodybuilding fans as one of the best shows of the year. History was made when competitors took to the stage for the very first time on local soil to battle it out for top honours as part of the brand new IFBB Classic Physique division.

The Boksburg Classic, an Arnold Classic Qualifier, attracted 146 athletes from all over South Africa with physiques of the highest standard. Competitors who impressed the judges the most were Michael Appelcryn (Senior Men), Logan Leigh Rix (Ladies Beach Bikini), David Tshosi (Men’s Athletic Physique) and Kaylin de Villiers (Ladies Fitness Bikini).
