Johnnie Jackson to Retire

Popular American IFBB Pro bodybuilder Johnnie O. Jackson has announced that he will retire after the 2017 Mr. Olympia competition.

The 46-year-old veteran, who has recently won the Arnold Classic Africa in Johannesburg as well as the Pro Supershow in Toronto, will hang up his posing trunks at the end of the competitive season.

As regular training buddy of fellow American IFBB Pro Branch Warren and powerlifter, Jackson is often referred to in gym circles as one of the world’s strongest bodybuilders squatting 374kg, bench pressing 272kg and deadlifting 377kg.
