IFBB Elite Pro divisions at ACA

There will be various IFBB Elite Pro divisions to compete in at the Arnold Classic Africa (ACA) in 2018 with one million rand pay out in prize money.

The ACA takes place in Sandton, Johannesburg between 18 and 20 May 2018 and the event will be open to all IFBB Amateur and Elite Pro athletes.

Elite Pro divisions will consist of:

  • Elite Pro Men’s Athletic Physique
  • Elite Pro Men’s Muscular Physique
  • Elite Pro Men’s Classic Bodybuilding
  • Elite Pro Men’s Bodybuilding up to 90kg
  • Elite Pro Men’s Bodybuilding over 90kg
  • Elite Pro Women’s Fitness
  • Elite Pro Women’s Physique
  • Elite Pro Women’s Body Fitness
  • Elite Pro Women’s Bikini Fitness
  • Elite Pro Women’s Wellness Fitness

The IFBB Elite Pro Card was created following the split between the IFBB Pro League/National Physique Committee (NPC) and the IFBB International. The Arnold Classic in Africa, South America and Europe will be IFBB Elite Pro sanctioned events. The Arnold Classic USA and Arnold Classic Australia will work with the IFBB Pro League/NPC. With the split the IFBB International has no longer any involvement in the IFBB Pro League/NPC events.

IFBB Elite Pro Cards can be granted to the following athletes in their national championships:

  • Bodybuilding Overall
  • Classic Bodybuilding Overall
  • Men’s Physique Overall
  • Muscular Physique Overall
  • Bikini Fitness Overall
  • Body Fitness Overall
  • Wellness Fitness Overall
  • Women’s Physique Overall

To qualify to enter in the Elite World Ranking to become an IFBB Elite Pro athlete, competitors from Men’s Bodybuilding, Muscular and Men’s Physique, Men’s Classic Bodybuilding, Body Fitness and Women’s Bikini Fitness must be placed amongst the:

• Top 10 at the 2017 World Championships
• Top 6 at the 2017 Continental Championships
• Top 5 at the 2017 Elite Invitational Qualifiers events
