Canadian bodybuilder Iain Valliere has qualified for the 2018 Mr. Olympia.
After his victory at the recently held IFBB Bigman Weekend in Spain, the 27-year-old Valliere is on everyone’s radar for the Open weight division at the Mr. Olympia competition.
“It’s really incredible how your mindset and attitude towards something dictates the result,” Valliere said in a post about the victory on social media. “This was the best mindset and genuinely the most fun and enjoyment I have ever had prepping for a show. I will always look back at this prep as one of my favourites.”
Valliere is brother-in-law and a close friend of Classic Physique sensation Chris Bumstead who came 2nd at his first Mr. Olympia in 2017. Bumstead, also from Canada, is widely considered to be one of the most talented bodybuilders in the sport at the moment.
Valliere is often referred to by his fans as a modern day mass monster, much in the same mold as former Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates. How will he fare against fellow Olympia competitors Steve Kuclo, Charles Griffen and Michael Lockett?
