All eyes on the Millennium Gold Plate

The IFBB Millennium Gold Plate fitness and bodybuilding show is the final contest in the Gauteng region where athletes can qualify to compete in the upcoming Arnold Classic Africa.

Competitors will travel to Kempton Park on Saturday, 14 April to bring their best conditioning to the stage. Last year’s competition saw a total of 206 athletes with Sandile Memela, Morne van den Berg, Johnny Lucas and Innocent Mabaso showing remarkably defined muscularity, symmetry and balance to outmuscle their rivals in the respective Men’s Bodybuilding divisions.

The Men’s divisions at the show on Saturday will comprise of:

  • Junior Bodybuilding U/23, U/75kg
  • Junior Bodybuilding U/23, O/75kg
  • Athletic Physique U/1.78m
  • Athletic Physique O/1.78m
  • Muscular Athletic Physique
  • Men’s Fitness
  • Men Over 40yrs
  • Men Over 50yrs
  • Classic Bodybuilding U/1.75m
  • Classic Bodybuilding O/.75m
  • Senior Bodybuilding U/70kg,
  • Senior Bodybuilding U/80kg,
  • Senior Bodybuilding U/90kg
  • Senior Bodybuilding U/100kg,
  • Senior Bodybuilding O/100kg
  • Mixed Couples

Ladies will compete in:

  • Beach Bikini U/1.63m
  • Beach Bikini O/1.63m
  • Fitness Bikini U/1.66m
  • Fitness Bikini O/1.66m
  • Fitness Bikini Over 35yrs
  • Wellness Fitness
  • Body Fitness
  • Women’s Fitness
  • Women’s Physique
  • Mixed Couples

The Kaleideo Auditorium in Fiskaal Street in the suburb of Glen Marais will serve as a battleground for all the competitors who will be looking at stepping up their game and coming out with their guns blazing! Athletes have worked extremely hard over the past few weeks to attain perfect conditioning to steal the limelight. Don’t miss out on all the action! Pre-judging will kick off at 11:00 with the main show starting at 17:00.
