Bodybuilding and sport fans who are going to the 2017 Arnold Classic Africa can make an impact in the lives of aspiring young stars by donating their old sports equipment which is still in good enough condition to a worthy cause when they attend the annual three-day health and fitness spectacle at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc), in partnership with the Arnold Classic Africa, have identified the need for sports equipment such as weights, weightlifting belts, balls, nets, racquets, sticks, bats and clubs in disadvantaged communities. Closing the gap in the South African sporting landscape, the equipment will go a long way in making sport accessible to everyone from all walks of life. Equipment can be dropped off at the Sascoc stand at the Sandton Convention Centre during the Expo, and Sascoc will ensure the generous donations are placed in the hands of federations and charities which can assist in the emergence of promising stars.
So, clean out those cupboards and donate your old sport equipment to schools, communities, sports teams and organisations unable to fund the purchase of new equipment.
