Cedric wins Arnold Classic in Ohio

IFBB Pro veteran Cedric McMillan averted the intentions of the fast-rising Dallas ‘Big Country’ McCarver by winning this year’s Arnold Classic title in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend.

This victory puts him firmly in a position to shine on the Mr. Olympia stage later in the year.

McMillan, who finished second to Kai Greene in last year’s Arnold Classic competition, received the champion’s trophy, congratulations from Arnold Schwarzenegger and prize money of $130,000.

The 25-year-old McCarver received $75,000 as runner-up. Maxx Charles came 3rd with Lionel Beyeke in 4th, Juan ‘Diesel’ Morel in 5th and Fouad ‘Hoss’ Abiad in 6th places respectively.

Ryan Terry won the Men’s Physique event while Angelica Teixeira walked away with the honours in the Bikini division.

Ahmad Ashkanani won the 212 division with David Henry securing a 2nd spot and Jose Raymond coming in 3rd followed by Guy Cisternino (4th), Zane Watson (5th) and Hidetada Yamagishi (6th).
