Like father, like son.
Or so it would seem for Hunter, son of former IFBB Pro bodybuilder Lee Labrada. Hunter achieved 1st place in the recent NPC Junior USA Championships.
After winning both the Open Super heavyweight division as well as the Men’s Open Overall title at the Dallas Europa Sports Games in 2017, Hunter worked incredibly hard to build a physique that is worthy of professional status.
“Every second you are on stage counts, not just the seconds you are actually holding your poses. Your transitions and how you get into poses are golden opportunities to showcase strong points,” says Hunter. He clearly is learning from his well-known father.
The Cuban-born Lee Labrada holds 22 Pro titles, including the IFBB Mr. Universe and appeared on the covers of more than 100 bodybuilding and fitness magazines. Labrada competed against men like Lee Haney and Rich Gaspari and was known for his aesthetic physique and classic posing routines. Can Hunter live up to the Labrada legacy?
